You'd like to make sure that when someone orders the book, they're told about the DVD, too, so they can benefit from the discount. But of course, they can buy the book or the DVD separately at full price, too. In more complicated scenarios, maybe you sell clothes and you'd like to create a "Buy two, get one free" kind of bundle. Impel's bundling and reward management features support the following functions.
- Create various bundles of whatever combination of products you sell, with "qualifying purchases" and their related "rewards" in each bundle. Purchases can include specific quantities of products, while rewards can be specific quantities or percentages off products.
- When you create an order impel, it looks in active bundles and flags order lines that include qualifying purchases, regardless of quantity, so you can up-sell/cross-you're your products to the consumer.
- Choose a bundle that the consumer wants and Impel automatically fills out the rest of the order, with related products and their discounted pricing (if any).
