While adding new lead the user can select an existing Contact or Add new Contact. One can add a contact with the new name which may not exist in the database but the email id or phone number may exist in the database with different contact name which the user may or may not know. So for avoiding duplicates of contacts it will be validated with existing contact. Click here for more information.

When you add a Lead or Contact in Impel, you can now choose to send that Lead or Contact a simple introductory SMS of a format that you choose.
